2009: Record Setting Book Sale and Membership Growth

Memberships for May through the Book Sale were up 4.3% from last year, with over 500 registered members of the Friends of Beebe Library. And, Book Sale proceeds were over 2% from last year, our highest total ever.

Congratulations to Jody Sherman and the scores and scores of volunteers who worked so hard to make the Book Sale a smashing success.

In a time of cut backs, it's gratifying that a group of dedicated volunteers work so tirelessly to protect and support a vital town institution. The Friends truly are dedicated to sustaining this excellent and important resource. Lend your membership support to assist in maintaining the Beebe Library's book collection and special services more than ever during this time of economic challenges.
